Chipepa village (Bangweulu Bay)

Chipepa is a village just behind the sand dune along the Bangweulu lodge site lake. The village has been depending on fishing from the Bangweulu lake until 2010. Nowadays some of the men have found jobs at the lodge and water for the households is made available. But most important: the children of the village didn’t have a real school to attend to. That’s why Mr and Mrs Ruizendaal have made a fund available to build a new school, so children are educated and will have more opportunities in later life.
