Kasiya village (Livingstone)

Amazing Zambia is implementing a special project to support the poorest people in the community trough a unique public-private partnership: the Social Cash Transfer Scheme. On a monthly basis the neediest households get a certain amount of cash to care for their basic needs in health, education and nutrition. Revenue generated from organizing village tours is returned to the community for their benefit. You can visit the village, so all our guests mingle with members of the local community to experience their way of life in farming, cooking, dance, music and sports.
